David is the Chief Information Security Officer for Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).  He is an experienced and professionally qualified internal auditor, risk manager and information assurance professional, having over 25 years of practical experience in these areas.  David is responsible for the consolidation of security and information assurance function across DVLA.  He was the senior responsible owner for GDPR implementation.  He provides management and advice to third party contractors on security and control issues, as well as managing the education and training of staff on privacy and data protection issues.
